Grand Marais Wedding

An intimate Scandinavian-inspired wedding with a sunset ceremony in the woods on Artist’s Point in Grand Marais, Minnesota. Amanda and Rollie exchanged vows surrounded by close family and friends—including their dog, as golden light filtered through the pines and Lake Superior stretched out behind them. The minimalist aesthetic carried through every detail, from Amanda's simple, modern gown and dried flower bouquet to Rollie's pine tree-engraved wedding band.

After saying their vows, guests showered them with lavender confetti as they walked the rocky shoreline at sunset, exploring the dramatic landscape and fall colors of the North Shore. The evening continued at North House Folk School, where candlelight and clean lines created an understated, Nordic-inspired reception. Long wooden tables, simple glassware, and a warm lantern glow emphasized the couple's love for timeless, purposeful design—a celebration that felt both deeply personal and effortlessly elegant against the wild beauty of Minnesota's north shore.
