Amanda and Kael had an intimate backyard wedding on a private lakeside estate in Minnesota, with a 1970s boho vibe that still felt modern.

Amanda wore a crocheted Rue de Seine gown and floral crown that matched the free-spirited energy of the day. They decided not to do a first look. Kael completely lost it as Amanda walked down the aisle, which was one of my favorite things to photograph all day. Under a wooden sunburst arch with the lake behind them, they laughed and cried their way through most of the vows.

Family was part of everything. When the ceremony ended, they walked back up the aisle together with their baby, and Kael's parents made the cakes, which filled a whole table.

The reception tent was full of pastel taper candles and peach and white flowers, crochet runners, and mismatched vintage glassware on the tables. They had their first dance out under the trees.

Their day was full of laughter and love.
